CBSE 10th Board Result 2016 to be announced on cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in on May 28 at 2 pm

CBSE board has confirmed that the results be out on May 28.

CBSE Board 10th Results 2016: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to declare the CBSE Class 10th (X) Board Exam Results 2016 on May 28 at 2.00 pm, on cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in

According to Central Board of Secondary Education a total of 14,99,122 students area awaiting Class 10 CBSE Results 2016.

The exams for CBSE Class X results 2016 were conducted in the month of March earlier this year. Results for CBSE Class 12 2016 were declared last week. Sukriti Gupta of New Delhi topped the exam which saw the overall pass percentage improve to 83.05.

Students can follow these steps to check the CBSE 10th Results 2016 -

1. Via e-mail ids registered with CBSE for CBSE X Results 2016

2. Via the Board's websites www.cbseresults.nic.in and www.cbse.nic.in.

3. Via the website www.results.nic.in

About Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE):

The Central Board of Secondary education was formed on Nov 3, 1952. The CBSE board conducts the Class 10 (X) and Class 12 (XII) examinations every year in the month of March. The board also conducts AIEEE entrance exam & AIPMT annually every year. The AIEEE entrance examination is for admission in engineering and architecture undergraduate courses in India & AIPMT (All India Pre Medical Test) entrance examination is for admission in major medical colleges in India.

The CBSE exams began on March 1 and concluded on April 22. Every year, lakhs of candidates appears for the CBSE Examination. This year, 14,99,122 candidates who registered for exams conducted for CBSE Board Results 2016 will possibly get their CBSE 10th Result on Friday.

For the first time ever, board will provide digital mark sheets for CBSE Board Results 2016 i.e. for CBSE Class 10th Result in DigiLocker at www.digilocker.gov.in. The credentials for this will be sent to each student via SMS on their mobile number registered with the Board for CBSE Class 10th Board Results 2016.

CBSE's official statement read: "Schools under the Delhi region are advised to collect the results from the office of the respective Zonal office after the declaration of the CBSE result. People are advised not to visit Board's office for collection of results."
