Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), Jitendra Singh, on Sunday said that the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Government in Delhi should introspect as to why the civil servants do not want to continue working with the state administration.

"What is being said by the AAP and others are absolutely devoid of facts and evidence. It is for the people to judge, but I think it is for them to introspect and to ask themselves what is the reason that nobody in Delhi administration wants to continue working with the Delhi Government and it is worrisome," Singh told the media here. "All the civil servants are not inclined to carry on; they want to be deputed outside. That is something they have to introspect about," he added.

Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia had earlier accused the Centre of trying to cut down on the rights of the state government. "BJP had said they would give full statehood to Delhi, but now they are busy cutting-down on the rights of Delhi Government. Today, Arun Jaitley ji is saying that it needs national consensus. I think the Central Government is implementing things on their own, but this is the assembly of people and there is nothing powerful than that. We will discuss it in the assembly and see what comes out," he said.
