The outlay for Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) has also been increased by about Rs seven crore to Rs 27.68 crore for 2015-16. The provision of Rs 7.18 crore in the 2015-16 Budget outlined by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is for establishment and construction-related charged expenditure in respect of Lokpal, according to Demand of Grants of the Ministry of Personnel.

The outlay for CVC, which acts as the government's nodal agency to check corruption and ensure transparency, includes Rs 25.68 crore to meet its establishment-related expenditure and Rs two crore for "extension work of capacity building of Central Vigilance Commission project".
