Terrorists on Wednesday night stormed the house of Parray, who was on leave, and fired indiscriminately, killing him and injuring three members of his family at Hajin area of North Kashmir's Bandipora district.
Slained BSF jawan Mohammad Ramzan Ahmed Parray, who was gunned down by terrorists at his Bandipora home, was buried on Thursday afternoon as the BSF and the police paid tributes.
Parray was buried at his ancestral graveyard in Bandipora's Hajin.
The body of the jawan, who worked with the 73rd Battalion of the BSF in Baramulla, was shifted to local police station where BSF and senior police officers paid tributes.

The heavily armed terrorists barged into Parray's house and tried to abduct him. When his family members resisted and tried to stop the terrorists, they fired shots upon them. All the injured were shifted to hospital where Parrey was declared dead on arrival.
Parray's killing is eerily similar to the kidnapping and murder of Lt Umar Faiyaz, a 22-year-old young army officer, who was posted with 2 Rajputana Rifle. Lt Faiyaz was was picked up from his house at Harmein in Kulgam in May. The body of the young officer was later found three kilometres from his house.
The incident took place when the army officer had gone to attend the wedding ceremony of a relative. He was abducted by five to six terrorists from his relative's house in south Kashmir's Shopian.
His bullet-riddled body was found in Harmain area of Shopian. A local boy from Kulgam district, Faiyaz was in the Infantry and posted in Akhnoor area in Jammu.
He was commissioned in the Army in December last year. His death, particularly the brutal nature of it had shaken the Valley.
