Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Bhupendra Singh hinted that there was odour of gun powder at the accident site.

At least nine people were injured after an explosion took place in Bhopal-Ujjain passenger train on Tuesday.
The incident took place in coach GS 084202 of train no-59320 in Madhya Pradesh's Shajapur at around 9:45 AM, when the train had left Jabri station in Ratlam division of Western Railway (WR). WR officials said, "The coach was parted from the train at Jabri by mechanical team and the rest of the train was left at Kalapipal station an hour after the incident."
"A medical team has been to the accident site and injured passengers have been admitted to Kalapipal Government Hospital," said IA Siddiqui, Bhopal Division PRO.
Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Bhupendra Singh said, "There was a gunpowder odour. Investigation in the matter is on."
"A team of forensic experts from Madhya Pradesh police is examining the coach," said Ravinder Bhaker, chief public relations officer.
However, the cause of explosion is yet to be ascertained.
