BMA names Subhash Chandra ‘Entrepreneur of the Decade’

The Bombay Management Association (BMA) will be felicitating Rajya Sabha MP Subhash Chandra with Entrepreneur of the Decade award on Wednesday. Punit Goenka, MD & CEO, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL), will be collecting the award on his behalf.

The 39th edition of the BMA Awards is scheduled to be held at Amber Hall, Courtyard by Marriot in Andheri East. The awards are meant to recognize and honour eminent business leaders for their contribution to the management movement and Indian industry.

These awardees are selected by an eminent and independent external and internal jury. The external jury comprised of some very distinguished people such as S. Ramadorai, Former Vice Chairman, TCS (Chairman of the Jury), Shailesh Haribhakti, Chairman & MD, Haribhakti Group, PR Ramesh, Chairman, Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP.

The jury does a dedicated study of the P&L and balance sheet, governance and contribution to society, community and environment before choosing the winners.
