In yet another incident allegedly linked to Blue Whale Challenge, a 12-year-old boy was found dead on railway tracks in Uttar Pradesh.

The incident took place in Uttar Pradesh's Shamli district.

The boy's  friends said that he died while playing Blue Whale game, reported ANI.

In the last few months, the deadly online game has claimed several lives.

The Supreme Court has already issued a notice to the Centre on a plea seeking a complete ban on the Blue Whale Challenge and sought a detailed reply on the matter within three weeks.

The Blue Whale Challenge is reportedly a suicide game in which the player is given certain tasks to complete over a period of 50 days and the final task leads him or her to commit suicide.

The player is also asked to share photos after finishing each challenge.

Admitting to being the driving factor behind the suicides of youngsters playing the game, Philipp Budeikin, who claims to have created the game, says that the victims were just ‘biological waste’.

"Victims were ‘happy to die’ and I am ‘cleansing society’," Budeikin told police when he was arrested in May this year.

A 17-year-old Russian girl has also been arrested by police for allegedly being the mastermind behind the Blue Whale Challenge, that encouraged players to commit suicide.
