CPI-M Politburo member Brinda Karat on Friday alleged that black money is being used by different political parties in Jharkhand assembly election.

"BJP, Madhu Koda with the support of Congress and all other parties that ruled Jharkhand and looted state's natural resources in the last 14 years are draining black money like water in this assembly election to wrest the power," she told mediapersons at CPI-M district headquarters in Dhanbad.

"Digital vans, rampant use of helicopters like cars, display of giant hoardings are indication use of black money," she said. Karat charged Prime Minister Narendra Modi of adopting a double standard when it comes to black money.

"At Brisbane G20 summit, Modi expressed concern over black money but his party BJP is using lots of black money in Jharkhand assembly election," she alleged.
