The BJP wants the withdrawal of the Congress’ election symbol ‘hand’ and derecognition of the latter as a national party.
The ruling party has filed a complaint with the Election Commission (EC) against Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi for drawing parallels between the Congress’ election symbol ‘hand’ with the religious symbols of Hinduism, Sikhism and Islam.
