BJP state unit President Raosaheb Danve and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will launch the Shivar Samwad Sabhas simultaneously from Nandurbar and Latur. A total of 4,000 elected representatives of BJP will participate in this campaign to reach out to farmers all over the state.

Speaking to DNA, a minister on the condition of anonymity said that this exercise can be considered as a preparation for the snap polls. He said that mid-term polls can not be ruled out going by the daily criticism of its own government by Shiv Sena. The minister pointed out that despite Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray attending the luncheon meeting of NDA partners in New Delhi, neither has he stopped criticising BJP-led government in state and at the Centre nor has Sena mouthpiece Saamana reduced the intensity of its criticism of the BJP.

During the four-day campaign all MPs, MLAs and corporators will undertake a tour of various villages between May 25-28. Minister for labor Sambhaji Patil-Nilangekar and BJP state unit General Secretary Dr Sanjay Kute are coordinating the massive exercise during which elected representatives will conduct 4000 meetings throughout the state on May 25 with the traget of reaching out to every farmer of the state.
