The 2014 Lok Sabha Elections is seeing the overwhelming victory of the BJP where it leads tentatively at 301 to 71.

Even in Maharashtra, the Congress is leading in a mere 5 out of 48 seats. These constituencies include Sangli, Mumbai Uttat Paschim, Mumbai Dakhshin, Bhiwandi and Nanded.

Even Milind Deora a promising candidate from Mumbai West who was initially seen leading is currently trailing   against Sena's Arvind Sawant. However Congress Candidate from Mumbai North West Gurudas Kamat is still leading in his constituency as is Ashok Chavan.

BJP leaders including Poonam Mahajan, Sunil Gaikwad and Ashok Patil are all maintaining leads in their constituencies with the BJP holding out on 21 seats in total.

The Aam Aadmi party so far doesn’t seem to be in the picture prominently enough, yet a popular candidate had made allegations regarding EVM tampering in Mumbai.

The Shiv Sena has also managed to secure leads in 18 seats at the moment.
