Shashi Tharoor entered the world of politics only a few years back, but he seems to have learned the ropes now. The Congress politician has found himself in the middle of numerous controversies in the past, and considering that his constituency is Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, he had some advice for cricketer-turned-politician Sreesanth.
On Tuesday, the 60-year-old politician and hot-headed Sreesanth went into a war of words. Sreesanth, who is known for his temperament, did not take too well to Tharoor stating that he needed to 'do his homework' and 'stick to outswingers'. The cricketer retaliated by posting a series of tweets to Tharoor.
Why @sreesanth36 needs to do his homework against the incoming bouncer: https://t.co/2pLbkFxu64 Should have stuck to his great outswingers!

Sreesanth wrote on his social media page, "I would have loved to keep bowling them but did u even call or help me and my family or did u even have any word to help me.. when me and my family was struggling get through my toughest situation..u r party didn't even call or help ..u guys only talk . so Lets not get thr..one thing is for sure ,once i become Mla I will make sure no one goes through what I went through. I will surly help and serve my people and will surly keep doing it.God is great may God be with me and family.ilove my people. I love my party, will surly do everything that my party ask me to. cricket might be over but Iam still breathing." (sic)
Meanwhile, Tharoor had only one comment to make to him. He stated that Sreesanth was still one of his favourite cricketers. He also gave him some advice stating that politics was not like cricket. Tharoor was perhaps indicating that he needs to learn to take criticism on the chin!
Thanks @sreesanth36. You remain one of my favourite players. But politics is a different field. Now you're in the nets, full tosses will come

A few weeks back, Tharoor had told media that BJP had already conceded the Thiruvananthapuram seat, seeing that they had got Sreesanth to contest there.
