BJP is expected to be leading the pack with 37.9 percent of vote share. Congress would only be able to garner 20.3 percent of vote nationally. But the story of Lok Sabha election 2014 is expected to be the rise of Aam Aadmi Party. Zee News-Taleem pre-poll  Lok Sabha survey shows  AAP would gain ground in almost all states especially in North region comprising of Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Delhi and Uttarakhand.  As much as 2.9 percent voters would vote for AAP in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

As far as the prospects of BJP are concerned, it is expected to do best in Central India where it been running two successful governments in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. It is however expected not to do as well in south India where its vote share is 1.3 less than Congress’. Even among Muslims, the saffron party is expected to only garner 14.1 percent vote.

However the Zee News-Taleem pre-poll  Lok Sabha survey throws up some interesting figures in terms of the acceptability of both Congress and BJP among the educated class. The poll shows 43.7 percent would vote for the BJP, while Congress will only get 15 percent of the vote. Even among Service and business” class voters, Congress’ vote share is limited to 18.5 percent.
