Asserting that BJP hadno role in the Muzaffarnagar violence, senior party leader Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday said people of Uttar Pradesh knew who was responsible and everything will come to light once the situation eased.
BJP had no role in the violence and it was the action ofthe ruling SP that led to the violence in the Muzaffarnagar, he alleged.
He also did not expect Lok Sabha Elections to be advanced.
Referring to the Sri Lankan issue, he told reporters that the Island nation was a friend of India, but the Indian government should ensure proper treatment of Tamils.
Venkaiah Naidu, heading the BJP's Mass Campaign Programme,under which 100 rallies would be organised in major cities,said one meeting would be organised in every Lok Sabha constituency for supporters of BJP.
A separate meeting was being organised for intellectualsand professionals including lawyers, auditors, doctors and engineers.
BJP had formed 20 committees to take care of the campaign.
While Murli Manohar Joshi would lead the Election Manifesto Preparation Committee, Nitin Gadkari would take care of the Vision Document. He would prepare a document that would compare achievements of BJP-led NDA government and Congress-led UPA Government.
Referring to DMK leader M Karunanidhi's appeal to the Centre and state governments to adopt an anti-superstition law, he said "Only will can end superstition and not bill. What happened to the bill against rape...it has not ended such criminal activities."
