Madhya Pradesh Congress President Arun Yadav said here today that the BJP-led central government has reduced financial assistance to the state, due to which MP's economic health has worsened". Addressing an election meeting in the run to civic polls at Sanver, Yadav said that after the BJP came to power at the Centre, it has reduced financial assistance to the state.

"This has multiplied the state's debt and forced MP to run its show with overdrafts," he said. He said that development took place in MP during UPA rule at the Centre and thrashed MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's claim that BJP stands for development, and the state would further prosper if the party swept civic body elections.

Yadav said that complaints of BJP leaders' involvement in scams are trickling in from different parts of the state and alleged that rampant corruption prevailed in MP.
