BJP demands detailed report on Saradha scam

BJP today demanded a detailed report from the West Bengal government regarding the Saradha scam and a statement from Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee about the treaty between IRCTC and Saradha Tours and Travels, during her tenure as Railway Minister.

"We want a white paper from the state government on the Saradha scam. We also want Mamata Banerjee to speak out on the treaty between IRCTC and Saradha Tours and Travels she was holding the Railway portfolio in the UPA regime," BJP state president Rahul Sinha said.

"Why is Mamata mum on her ministerial colleagues and party leaders being summoned by the ED and CBI? She should speak up as the people of Bengal want answers," Sinha said.
