Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Delhi chief Satish Upadhyay on Saturday said that Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal has tried to turn a community into a vote bank, and added that he is going to request the Election Commission to dissolve his party.

"Arvind Kejriwal protests only against the BJP. He has tried to convert a community into a vote bank. He wants to disturb the communal harmony in Delhi and I would request the Election Commission to dissolve his party," said Upadhyay. "BJP Is ready for elections and it is our priority to bring an elected government in Delhi. When the elections will be declared, we will make the strategy. I have had a meeting with my MLA's and MP's to form the strategy," he added.

The Aam Aadmi Party has claimed that the BJP is trying to frame them over arrest of party spokesperson Dilip Pandey and a few other AAP members under non-bailable Sections 153 and 295 of the Indian Penal Code, for allegedly instigating people, and putting up posters with provocative message against Congress MLAs in Jamia Nagar area. According to the police, Congress MLAs alleged that the posters, along with provocative message have been put up by AAP to divide the community.
