The BJP councillors of Jaipur Municipal Corporation are very excited at the prospect of interacting with BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi since it has been decided that they will go to Gujarat to attend a seminar.
In JMC, the BJP has 46 councillors and they will participate in one-day seminar at Ahmedabad on October 17 where Modi will address the councillors on issue of local self governance.
BJP councillor and deputy mayor Manish Pareek said that all the BJP councillors will take part in the seminar under the “Vibrant Gujarat” programme on October 17. For this they have decided to hire a Volvo bus on their own expense and leave on October 16.
Pareek added that in the seminar 20 subjects will be discussed like sanitation, sewerage, heritage, biogas, streets and roads issues etc. All councillors are very excited to attend and listen to Modi on local self governance. It is their first such chance to interact with their party’s prime ministerial candidate.
Another councillor said that it is a great chance to discuss Gujarat model of development and apply in our wards. As it is Assembly election in state and we hope that Modiji will definitely give us valuable directions and guidance on this occasion.
