BJP blessed to function under PM Narendra Modi's leadership: Kiran Bedi

Former IPS officer and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kiran Bedi on Sunday said that the party was blessed with the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"BJP has been blessed with the leadership of Narendra Modi. He is the sun and we are just small stars," said Bedi.

She further urged people not to waste their votes during elections.

"I have over 20000 tweets asking people not to waste their votes. This is for the future of the people and the country. What I am doing is for the future of the country. Now people have started calling me "Kiren Didi"," said Bedi.

It is being speculated that Bedi, who joined the party on Thursday, might be projected as the next chief minister for the party in the upcoming Delhi assembly polls.
