Bihar will give befitting reply to PM Narendra Modi's DNA jibe on chief minister Nitish Kumar: JDU

Janata Dal (United) leader Sanjay Singh on Sunday said that the Mahagathbandhan's Swabhiman rally being held here, will break all previous records, and added that the people of Bihar would give a befitting reply to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his political DNA jibe on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Another JD-U leader Vashisht Narayan also made a similar remark, "Today will be a response to all rallies of Modi ji, Bihar ppl will respond to comments made by him."

"Today's Swabhiman rally will break all previous records. Today, there are people all over the street. Prime Minister Modi had questioned Nitish Kumar about his DNA. Today, we will reply at Gandhi Maidan," Sanjay Singh told ANI.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had in his rally in Bihar referred to the JD-U's split with the BJP in 2013 and said, "I was hurt when he (Nitish Kumar) withdrew his support. But when he did the same thing to a Mahadalit such as Jitan Manjhi, then I figured out there is something wrong in his political DNA."

Leaders of the Janata Dal (United), the Rashtriya Janata Dal and the Congress Party - Nitish Kumar, Lalu Yadav and Sonia Gandhi - will address the Swabhiman rally organised by the alliance of the Janata Parivar today.
