The Bihar Assembly Election 2020 campaigning is at its peak. The candidates and supporters of all the parties are trying to show their full strength as the campaigning for 78 seats of the third and final phase of the assembly elections will stop at 6 pm today. Polling is to be held here on November 7.

Valmikinagar, Ramnagar (Reserved), Narkatiaganj, Bagaha, Lauria, Sikta, Raxaul, Sugauli, Narkatiya, Motihari, Chiraiya, Dhaka, Riga, Bathnaha (Reserved), Parihar, Sursand, Bajpatti, Harlakhi, Benipatti, Khajuli, Babbarhi, Bisfi, Laukha, Nirmali, Pipra, Supaul, Triveniganj, Umbrepur, Narpatganj, Raniganj (Reserved), Farbisganj, Araria, Jokihat, Sikti, Bahadurganj, Thakurganj, Kishanganj, Kochadhaman, Amour, Baisi, Kasba, Banmanakhi (Reserved), Rupauli, Dhamada Purnia, Katihar, Kadwa, Balrampur, Pranpur, Manihari (Reserved), Barari, Koda, Alamnagar, Bihariganj, Singheshwar (Reserved), Madhepura, Sonbarsa (Reserved), Saharsa, Simri Bakhtiyarpur, Mahishi, Darbhanga, Hayaghat, Bahadurpur, Kewati, Assembly seats include Jale, Gaighat, Aurai, Bochahan (Reserved), Sakra (Reserved), Kudhani, Muzaffarpur, Mahua, Patepur (Reserved), Kalyanpur (Reserved), Warisnagar, Samastipur, Morwa and Sarairanjan.

According to the Election Commission, 1204 candidates are in the fray in the third and final phase of the Bihar Assembly Election 2020. Of these, a maximum of 31 candidates contesting in Gaighat. At the same time, nine candidates are contesting in Bahadurganj, Jokihat, Triveniganj, and Dhaka. In this phase, 1411 candidates had filed nomination papers for the elections in 78 constituencies. Of these, nomination papers of 162 candidates were rejected in the investigation, and many withdrew their nominations.

It is worth mentioning that before the third phase of voting, all the major political parties and candidates had given their full strength for campaigning. On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, BJP President JP Nadda, Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, RLSP President Upendra Kushwaha, LJP Chief Chirag Paswan, and other prominent leaders held rallies for the third phase election campaign.
