Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Union Law and Justice Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has once again accused Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and his government of going all out to protect Congress president Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra on the latter's improper land deals.

Questioning the Haryana Government's move to legitimise the Vadra- DLF land deal, which was earlier cancelled by senior bureaucrat Ashok Khemka, Prasad said, ""Why is the Haryana Government speaking in two voices as far as the ownership in the revenue record of DLF Universal over land transacted by Robert Vadra-controlled company Skylight Hospitality is concerned?"

The deal was struck between Vadra's Skylight Hospitality and DLF Universal Limited in Gurgaon city, on the outskirts of New Delhi.

"The BJP would like to know that when the finance commissioner and the principal secretary of government of Haryana furnished a report to the Election Commission, why were they conspicuously silent about order number 1684-86 dated 16-07-2014 of deputy commissioner, Gurgaon?" Prasad added.

Vadra, who is a flamboyant businessman and married to Sonia Gandhi's daughter Priyanka, has always denied accusations of improper dealings with DLF, India's biggest property developer.

The DLF is accused of arranging favourable loans and real estate transactions for Vadra, which the company denied.
