In a shocking incident, a 25-year-old man and his 45-year-old father were thrashed by youngsters who were performing wheelies on the road in Bengaluru.

The incident occurred in Raghvendra Layout, New Mico Layout of Begur, reported Bangalore Mirror. The trouble started when Kiran Kumar was ferrying some computer parts with his colleague when three young men ona  Honda Activa, who were performing a wheelie, almost hit Kumar’s bike.  

When the riders attacked Kiran, he hit them back following which the three ran away. However, they returned with more associates and threw stones at Kiran.

 “The rider Arun abused me and attacked me. When I hit him back, the three beat a hasty retreat,” Kumar told Bangalore Mirror.

Following this Kiran called his father, and even he was assaulted when he arrived at the scene. They pelted stones at the father-son duo, causing injuries on the neck and abdomen to his father Nagaraju.

Kiran’s family alleged that the youngsters pulling off stunts were a nuisance to local resident, alleging they took drugs and performed wheelies all day in the area. Over the last three months, this had led to several confrontations between the residents of the area and youngsters.

The Bangalore Police have a registered a case against the three. A local police officer said: “We have detained two other youths who were present at the spot when Kumar and his father were attacked. We will increase patrolling in the area to curb such incidents.”
