Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today launched a beautification programme for all 575 tribal religious places in the state.

Laying the foundation stone for construction of a boundary wall in a tribal place of worship at Baghinbanda in Ranchi district, Das mentioned the culture and tradition of 'Sarna' and 'Masna' communities.

Das felicitated gram pradhans on the occasion, an official release said here.

He said his government has enhanced the grant given to them.

The state would prosper only when its villages prosper, the chief minister said.

He announced that "Sakhi Udyami (entrepreneurs) Mandal" comprising of 15 poor women would be formed in each village after August 15 and would be made employable by providing them skill training.

"We are making 100 youths skilled in each of the 1200 panchayats," Das said.
