Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today condemned the terror attacks in Kathua district and said such barbarian act of terrorists amply exposed their anti-human face.

The Chief Minister, in his condolence message to the bereaved families, has expressed solidarity with them and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and early recovery of those injured in the attacks.
Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee president Saifuddin Soz too condemned the attacks and said the state administration should move swiftly and nab the culprits. "I strongly condemn the firing by unknown gunmen in Hiranagar area of Kathua district today. I urge the state administration to move swiftly and nab the culprits," Soz said in a statement here.
"I hope that law enforcing machinery of the state will remain alert and not allow the disruptive elements to cause any harm to the peaceful electoral process which is going on smoothly," Soz added.
