More girls were rescued on Saturday after cops raided Baba Virender Dev Dikshit's another ashram in Farrukhabad district.

After Delhi, Uttar Pradesh police on Saturday raided two ashrams of Baba Virendra Dev Dixit in Farrukhabad district where 53 'sevikas' were rescued including minor and three girls from Nepal.

After tip off from the Delhi Police that the absconding self-styled Godman maybe hiding at his Farrukhabad Ashrams, raided Baba’s two Ashrams in Sikatarbagh and Kampil.

During the search operation, the sevikas at the two Ashrams resisted the police raid by locking doors. However, the police managed to break down the gates and search the ashrams.

Earlier this week, around 41 girls were rescued by the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) from the self-styled Godman's ashram in Rohini.

The Delhi High Court initiated an enquiry on Tuesday against the baba's Rohini ashram after it received "serious allegations" of sexual assault on women and minor girls who have been allegedly held captive under the garb of providing a spiritual path to enlightenment.

Talking to DNA, DCW chief Swati Maliwal said during the raid conducted by their team and the police, hundreds of letters written by victims to the Baba were found and they all had explicit content.

"It is suspected that the girls in confinement were forced to write letters to the Baba with sexual content. A chemical was also recovered, which the victims were apparently forced to drink. It seemed to be an intoxicant, which kept the girls out of their senses," Maliwal said.

The girls rescued from Rohini's Adhyatmik Vishwa Vidyalaya were being force fed a suspected intoxicant to keep them from raising their voice against their sexual exploitation, the DCW revealed.

She also said that the HC has now directed that the eight other identified properties of the Ashram be raided by a joint team of DCW, Delhi Police, and other agencies concerned. The court further directed the lawyers to inform about the addresses of these locations.

"The so-called Baba Virender Dikshit should immediately be arrested by CBI. All his locations across India should be raided. If this man could manage so much in the Capital, God knows what all illegal activities are ongoing in rest of the country!," Maliwal tweeted.
