Senior BJP leaders including PM Narendra Modi, National President Amit Shah and CM Vasundhara Raje addressed 223 big election meetings across the state and conducted seven roadshows.

As the clock was ticking away for the end of the campaign at 5 pm on Wednesday, the BJP top brass was crisscrossing the state, addressing huge rallies in a last-minute push to woo the voters.
Senior BJP leaders including PM Narendra Modi, National President Amit Shah and CM Vasundhara Raje addressed 223 big election meetings across the state and conducted seven roadshows.
CM Raje had the busiest schedule during the campaign. As she addressed 75 public meetings in 15 days and conducted roadshows in favour of the party candidates in two places.
"15 senior party leaders addressed 223 public meetings. Apart from this, seven roadshows were held. The PM addressed 13 public meetings. I have toured all the districts in the state and addressed 20 public meetings and led four roadshows. After Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra, the CM reached out to the public through 75 meetings," said Amit Shah. Raje, who was the face of the BJP campaign, addressed the highest number of public meetings - 75, an average of five public meetings per day. BJP's state president Madan Lal Saini addressed 40 public meetings in 11 days.
On the last day of campaigning, Modi addressed the public meeting in Dausa and Sumerpur assembly constituency of Pali district. BJP President Amit Shah took part in the roadshow in Ajmer city. Shah did roadshows with BJP candidates in eight assembly constituencies of Ajmer district. Shah conducted 20 public meetings and four roadshows in the state during his 16-day campaign tour.
At the places where the PM did not go, Shah took over the election campaign and also conducted the organisational meetings. Shah visited eight religious places during the campaigning and addressed 28 organisational meetings and various programmes. Raje addressed the public meeting in Khairwada (Udaipur district), Bagidora (Banswara district) and Sangod (Kota district) on Wednesday and did a roadshow in Baran.
