Asaram Bapu, who landed in Indore for 'spiritual solitude' on Saturday, is facing the allegation of raping a minor girl in his Jodhpur Ashram on August 15.
Talking to media persons, Asaram said he would not apply for anticipatory bail in view of the FIR lodged against him in New Delhi by a girl accusing him of sexual assault.
"There are others who went to jail over false charges, so, if needed, he too would go to jail and continue to hold discourse from there," he added
He said that after every discourse session, he goes for seclusion (ekantwas).
Asaram termed the allegation against him as baseless, while terming the minor complainant like his granddaughter. He reminded that the girl's parents were his disciples. He added that she (girl) is not a victim and she is still unblemished.
The controversial saint had landed at the Indore airport in a private airplane and declined to talk to the media persons there. He directly headed to his ashram and without talking to anyone left for isolation.
