On Sunday, Mishra told the media at his residence that AAP had received 'crores of rupees' from 'shell companies' run by people close to Kejriwal, mentioning in particular AAP legislators Shiv Charan Goel and Naresh Yadav.
"It has now become clear that Arvind Kejriwal is a corrupt man," Mishra said before he swooned. He also demanded Kejriwal's resignation and said if he didn't step down, would "drag" the chief minister by his "collar" and "lock him up" in Delhi's Tihar Jail.
Following which, Sunita Kejriwal slammed Mishra and tweeted, "Law of nature never errs, seeds of betrayal, false allegations sown, so shall he (Kapil Mishra) reap. Inevitable."
However, reacting to her remarks, in a series of tweets, Kapil Mishra said, "Whenever I would be discharged from the hospital, I will make a written complaint to the Central Bureau of Investigation and the Central Board of Direct Taxes under black money, hawala and money laundering cases"
He further added that Sunita Kejriwalji was unaware of truth and she is worried about his (Kejriwal's) downfall. "I won't say anything against her," he added.
Targeting Kejriwal, Mishra also alleged that 16 shell companies deposited money worth crores in AAP's bank accounts.
"These fake companies are registered in the name of AAP MLA from Moti Nagar, Shivcharan Goyal. These companies have given Rs. two crore to Kejriwal at 12 a.m. The fund received from these companies were sent to same branch branch of Axis Bank where there were allegations of converting black money into white at the time of demonetisation," he added.
However, rubbishing all the allegations made by Mishra, the AAP said that the party followed all the norms in the matter, adding that the charges levelled against it are just part of the conspiracy planned by the BJP.
A day after Mishra was sacked on May 7, he alleged Kejriwal of taking Rs 2 crore bribe from Delhi's Health Minister Satyendar Jain.
Mishra was suspended from the party on May 8.
