Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday met the children, who have been awarded National Bravery Award-2013, at Delhi Secretariat and listened to their experiences.
He appreciated their courage and commitment during difficult situations and also presented gifts to children on behalf of the city government.
"They were able to save a number of valuable lives with their alertness and presence of mind. We all are proud of them. They would continue to inspire other children," Kejriwal said adding that they have become role model for others.
Twenty children had come to meet to him.
The children from different parts of the country are going to be honoured on the occasion of Republic Day.
