Arvind Kejriwal asks people to send images of garbages

The face of the national capital will change if people come together, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Thursday that urging people to send images of debris and garbage using the recently launched mobile application, a joint initiative of government and the civic bodies.

"Wherever you come across debris click pictures and send it to us via the app and we will ensure that the garbage is cleared within a week. We will ensure a debris and garbage free Delhi...Much has been done and much remains to be done. If 2 crore people come together we will change the face of Delhi," Kejriwal said.

The Chief Minister made the remarks after inaugurating the 'Delhi Day' celebrations at the India International Trade Fair at Pragati Maidan. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Health Minister Satyender Jain were also present on the occasion. Singer Kailash Kher performed during the event which was attended by a large number of youths. Kejriwal also recited verses of 'Insan Ka Insan Se Ho Bhai Chara', a customary practice in most events attended by him.
