Armed Forces Week: RS MP Subhash Chandra's appeal on occasion of Flag Day

Rajya Sabha MP  Subhash Chandra has appealed to all Indians to do their bit for the Army during the Armed Forces week. 

Here's what he said in a video message:

Armed Forces Week is being celebrated as Flag Week between December 1 and December 7. On Dec 7, there will be Flag Day which is dedicated to the sacrifices made by our army and our jawans. This whole week, all of us, must thank our soldiers in some way or other- remembering them, hoisting flag or donating something towards their families. Our soldiers stay vigilant in bone-chilling cold and challenging conditions, even take bullets for us so that we could sleep in peace, assured of our security. This week is special and is for remembrance. Keep thanking them by donating online to make their lives better on the occasion of Armed Forces Flag Day. We rarely get the opportunity to serve those who guard us and the nation. We mustn’t miss it. The tricolour must keep flying high in our hearts. Jai Hind, Jai Bharat.
