Anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare criticised the AAP's chief Aravind Kejriwal for refusing to furnish a bail bond and going to jail in the defamation case and he said " going to jail become a fashion for some people".
He was in city on Sunday to attending a function called 'Asli Azadi Abhiyan'. During the programme he condemned Kejriwal's move towards the defamation case filed against him by the BJP leader Nitin Gadkari.
"Each and every citizen of this country should respect our legal system. But, being a responsible person, some are refusing to furnish a bail bond and going to jail is not a fair decision. Such undemocratic tendency never been tolerated" Anna Hazare indirectly attacked Kejriwal and his team.
If any one files a false complaints, there are so many options to challenge the case and go for an appeal. But, without following the court procedure and going against to it should be condemned, he said.
