Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will visit New Delhi on November 6 and 7 with a report listing "violation" of the AP Reorganisation Act and other laws by the Telangana Government.
The Chief Minister will submit the report to the Union Ministers concerned while Chief Secretary I Y R Krishna Rao will separately lodge complaints about Telangana's violations to Union Cabinet Secretary and Home Secretary.
During the visit, Naidu will also meet several Union Ministers to discuss pending issues related to the State.
"The Telangana Government has been brazenly violating the Reorganisation Act and other laws. Not stopping at that, it is also indulging in highhanded acts with scant regard to the Constitution and democracy," Parakala Prabhakar, AP Government's Communications Advisor, alleged here today.
Citing instances like the "one-sided" division of institutes like National Academy of Construction, National Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management, Acharya N G Ranga Agricultural University, Institute of Electronic Governance and Building And Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, he said Telangana was not at all honouring the Act's provisions.
"We have complained about this to the Governor who is common to both States. He owes an explanation on the action taken," he said, adding AP Government has written many letters to the Centre on this.
"The Telangana Government is repeatedly attacking us even as we are observing utmost restraint in deference to the Constitution and the law. Who gave the Telangana Government the right to violate laws?" Prabhakar asked.
"We will expose the misdeeds of Telangana Government to the public and appropriate authorities. We will speak the truth till the Telangana government stops speaking lies." Governments of Telangana and AP had been engaged in a war of words, accusing each other of violating provisions of the Act which dealt with bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and division of assets, liabilities, employees, contracts etc between the two successor States.
Meanwhile, Naidu would meet his Karnataka counterpart Siddaramaiah in Bengaluru on November 10 to discuss sharing of Tungabhadra water, AP Irrigation Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao said.
Though originally the meeting was supposed to take place tomorrow, Naidu is limiting his Bengaluru visit to a road show organised by the IT industry to attract investments to the State.
