Andhra Pradesh: 25-year-old arrested for chopping off woman’s hair

The Vizag police have arrested a 25-year-old who chopped off a woman’s hair while travelling with her in a share auto. According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, the youth identified as K Suresh Kumar, had a habit of chopping off women’s hair and had it been doing for a while now.

According to the report, women's hair is fetish of Kumar. It states that he would often travel in share autos and sit in the last few seats. He would cut off a woman’s hair and collect it in a bag.

The police are yet to determine why he kept doing this. On Sunday, when he finally got caught, the woman noticed that her hair was being cut and raised an alarm. The passengers caught him and beat him before handing him over to the Gajuwaka police, the report says.
