An ammonia leak took place at a cold storage facility in Fatehpur's Jahanabad area in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday night. Many labourers are feared trapped, reported ANI.
People in the vicinity of the facility are being evacuated and transportation within 2 km of the area has been stopped.
ANI reports fire tenders have not reached the spot yet.

Exposure to ammonia leakage can irritate the eyes, mucosa, airways, lungs, and skin. In high concentration, it can also cause swelling of lungs and asphyxia.
