Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday, November 28 appealed to the protesting farmers to end their agitation and said that the government is willing to discuss all issues concerning them.

“I appeal to the protesting farmers that the Government of India is ready to hold talks. Agriculture Minister has invited them on December 3 for discussion. Centre is ready to deliberate on every problem and demand of the farmers,” said Amit Shah.

"If farmers' unions want to hold discussions before December 3 then, I want to assure you all that as soon as you shift your protest to structured place, the government will hold talks to address your concerns the very next day," the Home Minister further added.

He urged the farmers, who are protesting against three farm laws enacted recently to shift to Nirankari Samagam Ground marked for their protest by Delhi Police and said the Centre was ready to talk to them earlier than December.

Despite being offered a north Delhi ground for peaceful protests, the farmers have stayed put at the Singhu and Tikri border points for the third consecutive day

Earlier in the day, Kishan Ekta group members, who were protesting at the Tikri border said they could sit in protest for six months if their demands were not fulfilled.

"We have arrangements for food and other things for the next six months. We can easily sit here in protest for months if our demands are not met," said the group which came from Fatehabad.

The call for negotiation by the centre has come after the agitating farmers said they were not willing to end their protest as they don't have faith in the government.
