Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Amit Shah on Tuesday stated that the present UPA government has made the lives of the people very difficult and that if Rahul Gandhi becomes prime minister he will keep seeking advice from his mother at every step.

"Sonia-Manmohan government has made the lives of the people difficult. Whether it is price rise, border security, corruption, or women security this government has failed on every front. Some day Pakistan illegally crosses border while on another day China does it. If you need to save our army men then you have to elect Narendra Modi," Shah said.

Shah attacked BSP and SP for giving oxygen to the Congress led UPA government to enable it to survive.

"It is the BSP and the SP which allowed the Congress government to survive and run, otherwise the government would have fallen a long time back," Shah added.

Shah attacked Rahul Gandhi, saying god forbid if he becomes prime minister then he will ask his mother to seek advices on what should be his next action.

"Sometimes his mother, sometimes his sister speak, God forbid he becomes PM, he will ask his mother, 'what do I say'," Shah remarked.
