Amit Shah arrives in Puducherry as part of 110-day nation-wide tour

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President, Amit Shah, arrived in Puducherry for a two-day visit on Monday, June 26. 

Shah was welcomed with a traditional song and a motorcycle rally from the airport.

During his visit, Shah will attend a party meeting to take stock of the political situation in the union territory after which he will garland a statue of poet and journalist, Subramaniya Bharathi.

Besides presiding over the party's core committee meeting, he will also hold talks with office bearers, district presidents and general secretaries, among others.

Shah will hold meetings with industrialists, representatives of trade associations, and Chambre De Commerce.

This will be Shah's second visit to Puducherry. He will be visiting Auroville on Tuesday, June 27.
