BJP National President Amit Shah has clarified that the party will continue with its alliance partners in 2019 Lok Sabha election even if it is confident of winning a majority on its own.

During an informal interaction with editors of the state media, he stressed that like the last time, the 2019 polls will also have development as their main agenda.

Shah, who is on a nationwide tour in preparation for the 2019 Lok Sabha election, laid out his plans for the BJP during his interaction with media in Panaji.

He admitted that some BJP MLAs or MPs speak out of line and propagate hate speech. He assured that the party will rein in such elements. "We are making efforts to control our leaders from making such statements. You will soon see the difference," he said. His two-day visit ended with the inauguration of BJP'S South Goa district office.
