AQIS released a new audio released on Telegram on Sunday.
After failing to recruit Indian nationals in global jihad, the Al Qaeda in Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) has taken to exhort the Muslim community to take cue from Europeans and launch lone-wolf attacks.
Referring to the discrimination and increasing atrocities inflicted on Muslims in the name of cow protection and nationalism, Indian born AQIS chief Maulana Asim Umar has called `single mujahids’ to target IAS and IPS officers.
In a new audio released on AQ related jihadi accounts on Telegram on Sunday named, `a response to the campaign disbelief on Indian Muslims,’ Umar held the Indian government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for using the deception of `secularism’ to commit violence against Muslims.
He did not specifically refer to any recent incident but said that Muslims of India were forced to convert to Hinduism, to recite Vande Mataram ('un-Islamic' national song meaning, “I bow to thee holy mother” ], prohibit slaughtering cows and leave the 'Hindu land' of India.
Umar incurred that historically Muslims have been oppressed by idol worshippers but the followers of Allah have always emerged victorious. "Allah had granted victory to those who had been steadfast on His Word... That is how the power of arrogant Abu Jahls, like Modi, is crushed… in the battlefield of Badr at times; and in the battlefields of Panipat at others.’’
Umar said the Hindus of India want to exterminate Muslims from the land, just like the Soviet Union did in Afghanistan and Americans in other Muslim countries. The only way to fight the oppression and prevent the Hindus from dominating was to strike back, he retorted. "Your brothers in Iraq and Syria, in Yemen and Somalia are striking the super powers of the world, day in and day out. You are over 350 million in India. You have the best land of India. Your localities are in every province of the country. Even if you come out carrying merely knives and swords then—history bears witness—Hindus cannot withstand you.’’
He added that Hindus have gained an upper hand on Muslims through deceit.
Whenever there are 'riots' or violence against the Muslim community, the government issues statements that India is a secular country and calling these riots "a conspiracy — not of the state, but — of extremist Hindu organization... despite the fact that they all are same. Whatever happens in India against the Muslims, the state and its departments are equal partners.’’
Lamenting the discrimination meted out against the Muslim community, Umar said that Hindu mobsters get the support of state agencies; all types of weapons and military training in RSS linked institutions. "Its constitution grants equal rights to all. If a Muslim is caught slaughtering a cow, he is executed publically; but for slaughtering Muslims, Modi is rewarded with the reign of Delhi.’’
Umar reckons the only way for Muslims to defend themselves against Hindus was to choose between life of dignity or of a martyr. "Look at the Muslims of Syria... the Muslim youth living in Europe, how they have been attacking a strong enemy one single (mujahid) after another; and thus have disturbed the entire Europe."
"Kill the senior officers of institutions and administrative departments that get (people to) start these riots. Target IAS, and IPS officers. Cause them financial losses,’’ he said.
