Minister of State in Prime Minister's Office (PMO) Jitendra Singh on Monday said that there was Pakistan's hand behind the terror attack on a General Engineering Reserve Force (GREF) camp near LoC in Akhnoor sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

Speaking to media, Singh said, "There are evidences that show terrorism perpetrates from Pakistan's soil, it has isolated them."

Three civilians, working as labourers were killed in a pre-dawn terror attack by militants.

Two or more militants attacked the GREF camp around 1 am near LoC in Battal village.

The militants likely infiltrated from across the border to carry out the terror attack. Troops along with the police have cordoned off the area and a counter operation has started.

A senior police officer said all routes to the area have been plugged and the operation is in full swing.

Meanwhile, defence experts said the world must take serious steps to finish terrorism as there was no doubt that the Pakistani military establishment was directly responsible for training, funding and helping the militants infiltrate India.
