2,649 candidates have qualified in the AIIMS MBBS Entrance Examination 2018, held on May 26, 27
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences on Monday declared results for the entrance examination for the MBBS course at 9 AIIMS centres in Delhi, Patna, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Bhubaneswar, Rishikesh, Raipur, Guntur (AP) and Nagpur (Maharashtra). 2,649 candidates have qualified for the first round of centralised counselling. The cut-off percentile is 98.83% for the general category, 97.01% for OBC (NCL) and 93.65% for SC/ST category.
The AIIMS MBBS Entrance Examination 2018 was held on May 26 and May 27 2018. It was for the first time that the exam was conducted on two days.

According to the rank released by AIIMS, 4 candidates have scored 100 percentile marks. In case of equal overall percentiles, the ranks of the candidates are determined using percentiles of Biology followed by Chemistry, followed by Physics and then by Date of Birth with older candidates being placed above younger one.
The list, however, does not contain the complete list of all candidates who have qualified in the examination and only includes the names of eligible candidates equivalent to four times the total number of seats available in all the AIIMS.
The mock round of seat allocation/online counselling is expected to begin on June 23, 2018 and will be followed by later rounds of counselling. All candidates are required to register for online allocation of seats/counselling on June 23, 2018.
Candidates who do not find their name in the list can view their rank and percentile in the website www.aiimsexams.org after navigating through the Academic tab using their login credentials.
In 2017, AIIMS MBBS results were declared on June 15. Out of the 3,64,242 eligible candidates, 2,84,737 candidates gave the exam, with 1,50,793 women candidates outnumbering 1,33,933 men and 11 third-gender candidates. Nishita Purohit of Surat (Gujrat) was the All India Topper of the exam.
