All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has declared the MBBS Entrance Exam Result 2017.

The Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course 2017 examination was conducted on May 28, 2017 at various centres across the country and more than 1.5 lakh students gave the exam.

A total of 28,4,737 candidates appeared, out of which 4,905 have qualified and are eligible for counselling session in AIIMS.

"For the first time in its history, AIIMS New Delhi will be admitting 100 students for this session," Dr Ashok Kumar Jaryal, head of exams, AIIMS said.

The students, who appeared for the exam can check their results on the official website aiimsexams.org.

A counseling procedure will start from July 3 and the classes will begin from August 1.

Here's how you can check the results:

- Go to the official All India Institute Of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) website aiimsexams.org

- Click on 'Results'

- Choose one of the two pdf formats

- Enter candidate ID, password and security code

- Click on login and download your AIIMS MBBS entrance exam result

About the All India Institute Of Medical Sciences

An Act of Parliament in 1956 established the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) as an autonomous institution of national importance and defined its objectives and functions. By virtue of this Act, the Institute awards its own medical degrees and other academic distinctions. The degrees awarded by the Institute under the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Act are recognized medical qualifications for the purpose of the Indian Medical Council Act and notwithstanding anything contained therein, are deemed to be included in the first schedule of that Act, entitling the holders to the same privileges as those attached to the equivalent awards from the recognized Universities of India.
