With discovery of another suicide note, mystery in the Ahmedabad family deaths has deepened.

On Thursday, the police reportedly found the suicide note of wife Kavita Trivedi, in which she blamed her husband Kunal Trivedi’s ex-girlfriend for what looks like a suicide pact.

In her note, Kavita said that the evil spirits of her husband’s ex-girlfriend forced the family to take the extreme step.

The Ahmedabad family deaths are a stark reminder of sensational Burari deaths in Delhi, where 11 members of a family allegedly committed suicide.

In this case, three members of the Trivedi family were found dead in an apartment located in Ahmedabad’s Naroda area late on Tuesday night.

Initial probe said that the 45-year-old deceased man first poisioned his wife and 16-year-old daughter, then hanged himself.

The deceased were identified as Kunal Trivedi (45), Kavita Trivedi (45), and Shren Trivedi (16).
Kunal's relatives had been trying to get in touch with him from Monday night, but there was no response. On Tuesday, his relatives got suspicious and reached their house, but nobody opened the door. Later, the relatives broke into the house to find Kunal hanging from the ceiling fan, and the wife and daughter on the floor.

Kunal's mother was also found unconscious in the same room and was rushed to a hospital for treatment. Naroda police were informed shortly, who reached the spot and started an investigation.

Probe has revealed that Kunal had tried to kill his mother too.

The suicide note recovered from the spot states: "The society has been calling me an alcoholic, but I am not. It is some black magic which is refusing to leave my side and dragging me into darkness." He has even asked his mother and other relatives to forgive him for his actions, pointing out that he was not in a debt."

The deceased were residents of Avani Sky flats located near Surdharsan crossroad in Naroda.

As per police, Kunal, who hails from Kapadvanj taluka of Kheda, was into cosmetic business. For the past one year, he had been living with his family in Naroda in a rented house.

HB Vaghela, inspector, Naroda Police Station, said, "We are still clueless about the motive behind the act. While we have recovered a suicide note, we suspect there is more to it and are trying to find it out.

At around 4 am in the morning, the bodies were sent for post-mortem. As of now we are recording the statements of various concerned persons," Vaghela said.
