Agra city votes briskly

Thursday, 24 April 2014 - 11:27am IST | Place: Agra | Agency: IANS

The Taj city saw brisk polling Thursday, with many turning up at polling centres even before they opened at 7 a.m. "I made it a point to be the first at the booth after my morning walk," said Rajesh, a student of Agra University, at the Mufeed-e-Aam Inter College on Motilal Nehru road.

BJP's outgoing MP Ramshankar Katheria faces a tough rival in Bahujan Samaj Party's Narayan Singh. The Aam Admi Party has fielded Ravindra Singh, who claims he will put up a good show, and "definitely finish number three".
