Mumbai: Inspector undergoes health check-up after being fat-shamed by Shobhaa De, awaiting test reports

Madhya Pradesh’s police inspector Daulatram Jogewat travelled to Mumbai from Neemuch to undergo a medical test and meet Dr Muffazal Lakdawala who is treating Eman Ahmed weighting 500 kg, in Saifee Hospital.

Daulatram Jogewat was admitted to the Saifee Hospital in Charni Road at 12:00 am on Monday.
 
Mumbai-based medical staffer from Centre for Obesity and Digestive Surgery (CODS) met Jogewat on Saturday in order to check his health condition.
 
According to the Dr Muffazal Lakdawala, Jogewat’s medical tests are done and they are waiting for the test reports which are expected later on Monday evening.

Dr Lakdawala, said, “He was admitted last night in the hospital and since morning we have conducted his entire body check-up. Body tests also included those for diabetes, hypertension, limb check-up and other health problems which he had been facing over a few years. We are waiting for the test reports. Once we check them, we will start further process.” Lakdawala also added that he is fine now and resting.
 
Last week, columnist Shobhaa De made fun of Jogewat over his obese physical condition on social media. Jogewat soon came in limelight after the tweet went viral.
