After Ahmedabad, another monolith mysteriously appears in Mumbai

The officials of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation did not provide any comment on the monolith that appeared in the garden.

Another mysterious monolith appeared in India! This time it was spotted in Mumbai’s Bandra area this week. It was found at Joggers Park in suburban Bandra on Wednesday. 

The images of the triangular prism-shaped structure was shared by local corporator Asik Zakeria. It was around seven feet tall.

 Zakeria stated in a press release that the numbers depicted on one of the panels offer a coded message about nature and wildlife conservation.  

However, the officials of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation did not provide any comment on the monolith that appeared in the garden.

"It's here! Mysterious #monolith appeared in #Mumbai! Check it out at Joggers Park Bandra! It has  numbers on side of it let’s try & figure out what they mean Don’t know how long it will be there but cant wait to get a picture with it!" Zakaria tweeted.

India marked the first appearance of a monolith in a park in Ahmedabad.

The mysterious monolith evoked a lot of intrigue after its appearance at the Symphony Forest Park on the SG Highway on December 31. . It is similar in look to other monoliths, with shiny metal sheets that form the three-sided structure.

However, the suspense was over as it was later found out that private company was responsible for installing the monolith.

The Indian Express quoted the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation's assistant director of parks and gardens, Dilipbhai Patel, as saying that the monolith was installed by the private firm that was responsible for developing and maintaining the park.

There have been  'mysterious' monoliths mysteriously appearing and disappearing in different parts of the world. First such monolith appeared in a remote desert of Utah in the United States, where it disappeared after a few days. Similar structures were later spotted in as many as 30 countries around the world, including the United Kingdom and France.

There have been different theories shared on social media about the origin of these mysterious metal structures.
