Admit cards for CAT 2016 available for download at iimcat.ac.in

The entrance exams for Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and other important B-schools, the Common Admission Test (CAT), will be held on December 4, 2016. The exam will be held across 138 cities in two sessions. Admit card for the exam have now been released, candidates who have registered for CAT 2016 can now download their admit card from the official site - iimcat.ac.in

CAT registrations this year have hit a seven-year high with 2,32,434 applications received, as against 2,18,664 registrations for the test last year.

Steps to download admit card:

1) Go to the official website

2) Click on the ‘Existing User’ button

3) You will be directed to login page. Key in user ID and password, click on login.

4) You will now get access to your admit card.

5) Download the admit card and take a print out.

You will not be allowed to appear for your exam with call letter and identity proof.

Check your name and other necessary details, user ID, test venue and test timing on admit card. 

About CAT:

CAT will have three sections - verbal ability and reading comprehension, data interpretation and logical reasoning and quantitative ability. The test will be conducted for 180 minutes.

A tutorial will be hosted on the official website for students to explain the format of the test.
