The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday refuted allegations levelled by sacked Delhi Water Minister and party leader Kapil Mishra, saying they were not worth responding to.

Speaking to the media, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said, "His allegations are not even worth responding to, they are so absurd and without any facts."

Sisodia also said that the allegations do not merit any response and Mishra was sacked due to poor performance.

Mishra has alleged that he saw Health Minister Satyendra Jain pay Rs 2 crore to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The sacked minister also alleged that Jain had told him that he settled land deals worth Rs 50 crore for Kejriwal's relative.

Later, Mishra also tweeted that his words would be proved right when Satyendra Jain lands in jail.

Claiming that he urged the Chief Minister to disclose where he got the money, Mishra said, "There are a number of corrupt people in the party who have their protectors shielding them from action."

Meanwhile, the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has demanded Kejriwal's resignation.

"Conglomerate of Corrupts masquerading as Fighters against corruption have been completely exposed! Captain Corrupt should RESIGN!!," BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said in a tweet.

This is the latest incident in the crisis swirling within AAP. Recently, a rift developed within the party after Amanatulla Khan had alleged that AAP leader Kumar Vishwas was planning a coup against Kejirwal. Vishwas had threatened to quit the party, before Kejriwal and other senior AAP leaders managed to assuage his hurt feelings and appointed him in charge of the AAP's affairs in Rajasthan. Kapil Mishra is believed to be close to Kumar Vishwas.
